RONALDINHO WANTS TO PLAY MAN UNITED

The Brazilian seemed poised to join Manchester United in 2003 from Paris Saint-Germain after it emerged David Beckham would be leaving Old Trafford.
However, Ronaldinho clinched a move to Barca instead, and enjoyed a decorated five-year spell in La Liga.
The Catalan giants turned to Ronaldinho, while United filled the void left behind by Beckham by plucking Cristiano Ronaldo from Sporting Lisbon.

And while admitting United was a possibility, Ronaldinho insists his decision to move to the Nou Camp was easy, with then president Sandro Rosell proving to be the key to the deal.
“I never even thought of that,” Ronaldinho said
“Yes, I could have played for another club, but I went to Barcelona because of my friendship with Sandro Rosell. I could have played for Manchester United.

FACEBOOK COMMENTS OVER THE JONATHAN TILOVE'S STATEMENT ABOUT HOUSE REPUBLICAN HEALTH CARE PLAN IS PRAISED IN R-TEXAS

As reported by the American-Statesman’s Jonathan Tilove, while U.S. Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, praised the House Republican health care plan, U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz said it is a work in need of progress. Cornyn hailed the plan, called the American Health Care Act, “as the most significant entitlement reform in decades.” During a conference call with Texas reporters, Cruz voiced his doubts about the plan, saying, “As drafted, I do not believe this bill would pass the United States Senate.”
Sean March: Cornyn is an amoeba. His opinions are always based on the official GOP talking points.
Janet Catland: I think we need to give them a chance. Have some patience.
Ann Mattingly: The one change that grabbed my attention is the 30-percent increase in premium for a year if coverage is allowed to lapse. Why would anyone who’s managing well allow coverage to lapse? If someone’s struggling, (we) punish them?
Susan Lay: There are already millions that have dropped out! They would rather be fined and have no insurance. The premiums are to high and deductibles too high.
Katherine Allen: Can’t believe I’m gonna say it, but I agree with Ted Cruz.
Donna Bevill Hayden: If Cruz doesn’t like it, it means it gives too much to poorer people and takes to much from his rich buddies.
Judy Richie: This plan is nothing more than Obamacare lite. Republicans better get it right before the next election.
Joe Hinojosa: Cornyn wants to limit the damage being unleashed on Americans. Cruz wants to further remove any and all affordability from this health care mess.

Amy Katkic: Are the representatives willing to use the same coverage?
